Laurie Breton is a business administration student and a naturally ambitious entrepreneur. Recognized for her leadership, determination, and ability to bring people together around meaningful initiatives, she is actively involved in a variety of student, entrepreneurial, and community projects.
As the founder and president of Adminity, an initiative dedicated to building an inspiring community around entrepreneurship, personal finance, and personal development, Laurie is passionate about creating projects that foster a sense of belonging, collaboration, and personal growth. She is also the co-founder of the Management and Business Competition Club, an active member of the Entrepreneurship Club, Secretary General of the student association, and serves on the student board of directors.
Laurie has also collaborated with the startup Solvearn as a volunteer and ambassador, an experience that further strengthened her initiative, creativity, and adaptability.
In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins de la Région de Saint-Hyacinthe, where she is committed to bringing the perspective of the next generation of leaders to the organization.
Throughout her academic journey, Laurie has distinguished herself in several business case competitions, including earning first place at the Hermès Entrepreneurship Innovation Competition. She also received the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Youth Medal for the Montérégie region, an honour recognizing her leadership, community involvement, and outstanding commitment to her community.
Curious, driven, and always eager to embrace new challenges, Laurie is passionate about continuous learning and stepping outside her comfort zone. She has a strong interest in travel, languages, and discovering new cultures, and values experiences that broaden her perspective while enriching both her personal and professional development.
