Collaborator

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for nearly 30 years and an entrepreneur for just as long, Lynda Coache has successfully combined her entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership and management expertise.

At the age of 29, she founded her own accounting firm, and at 40, she merged her practice with Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP. During her tenure with the firm, she served on several governance bodies, including nearly six years on the Partners' Board.

Lynda's ability to adapt and her willingness to take calculated risks have been key drivers of her success. Her perseverance and boldness have enabled her to achieve meaningful results both for herself and for the many organizations she has supported throughout her career.

She is particularly recognized for her ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively, especially when presenting to boards of directors and executive leadership teams. Over the years, she has also developed extensive expertise in navigating political environments and the governance of complex organizations.

Lynda has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including OSEntreprendre, Réseau Mentorat, Université TÉLUQ, the Haut-Richelieu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, several committees of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA Québec), L'Étoile, and organizations dedicated to social pediatrics, among many others. She also serves on advisory boards for private companies.

Throughout her career, Lynda has contributed to the development of numerous strategic plans. More recently, she played a key role in the major transformation of Educ'alcool.

Her contributions have been recognized through several prestigious honours, including the FCPA (Fellow CPA) designation, the Arista Award, and the Business Personality of the Year award in the Haut-Richelieu region.

Following her departure from Desjardins in 2022, Lynda combined her three core areas of expertise, coaching, governance, and accounting, to offer organizations a more comprehensive advisory approach that brings together both strategic thinking and a people-centered perspective.
